We respect the privacy of all visitors to our website. This Cookie Policy outlines our policy concerning the use of cookies on this website.
This Cookie Policy contains important information about privacy and cookies and should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect (i) any changes in technology or legislation (ii) the products or services we provide and/or (iii) how we operate our business which may affect the way in which cookies are used by us and how you as a user, can manage them. We will place a notification on our website if any changes that we regard as material are made.
Please note that certain words and phrases have specific meanings. Please see the definitions section in our Terms of Use for details of these defined terms.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent from a website and stored in the user’s web browser while the user is browsing a website.
When users visit the same website again, the browser sends cookies back to the website allowing the website to recognise the user and remember things like personalised details or preferences.
More information about cookies and details of how to manage or disable them can be found in the Data Protection Commission's guidance on cookies, and on aboutcookies.org and youronlinechoices.eu. Your browser's settings also let you review, block or delete the cookies stored on your device.
Which cookies we use?
When using our website a number of different types of cookies may be used. We have set out below a description of the cookies that are used by us or third parties that we work with.
Cookie List
A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. Those cookies are set by us and called first-party cookies. More specifically, we use cookies for the following purposes:
Strictly Necessary and Functional Cookies
These cookies are needed to operate the website, or are set as the direct result of an action you take — signing in, pairing a screen or device, or choosing a display preference. No consent is required for them. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will then not work.
| Cookie | Cookies used | Lifespan | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _betting_v2_session_v2 | First Party | Session | Keeps your session going while you use the site and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. |
| access_token | First Party | 1 year | Pairs a display screen with our service after you set it up. |
| device_registration_token | First Party | 1 year | Remembers a device registration you have requested. |
| sidebarOpen | First Party | 360 days | Remembers whether you keep the sidebar open. |
| showCommentary | First Party | 360 days | Remembers whether you show market commentary. |
| sortByCardNumber | First Party | 360 days | Remembers your card sorting preference. |
Optional Cookies — Set Only With Your Consent
We use one optional cookie. It is set only if you tick “Keep me signed in” on the sign-in form; leave the box unticked and it is never set. You can withdraw your consent at any time by signing out, which removes the cookie.
| Cookie | Cookies used | Lifespan | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| remember_user_token | First Party | 90 days | Keeps you signed in on this device between visits, so you do not have to log in each time. |
Third Party Cookies
We DO NOT use third-party cookies for advertising, marketing, or analytics purposes. Third-party cookies are cookies from a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting.
The only exception is during identity verification. When you complete the mandatory identity-verification step, our website embeds a secure verification module provided by Sumsub (Sum and Substance Ltd), our identity-verification provider. This module is loaded from Sumsub's own domains and may set cookies or use similar browser storage that are strictly necessary to deliver the verification process — for example to maintain your verification session. These are used only while you complete verification and are not used for advertising or tracking. For more information about how Sumsub handles your data, see the Identity Verification with Sumsub section of our Privacy Policy.
